Terms and conditions
Last updated 10 September 2026
These terms apply to every order placed with Print Syndicate through this website. They are written to comply with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Placing an order means you accept them.
1. Who you are dealing with
Print Syndicate is a South African business selling customise cases and keyring charms directly to the public. Our contact details, as required by section 43 of ECTA, are on the contact page: email, WhatsApp number and the address we accept legal notices at.
Physical address for legal notices: 17 Engwena Road, Sebenza, Edenvale, South Africa. Prices on this site are in South African Rand. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.
2. Placing an order
Adding items to your basket is not yet a sale. A sale comes into being once we have received payment and sent you an order confirmation with an order number. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if a price was loaded incorrectly, or if we cannot produce the artwork you supplied.
Every case is made after you order, to the phone model and photo you choose. Please check your phone model and the preview carefully before you pay. If we cannot work with your model or your photo file, we will contact you before printing.
3. Your photo and the rights in it
You must own the photo you upload, or have permission to use it. By uploading it you confirm that printing it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark or privacy, and that it does not depict anything unlawful. We may refuse to print material that appears to infringe someone else's rights or that is unlawful, and we will refund you in full if we do.
You keep all rights in your photo. We use it only to produce and deliver your order, and to resolve a query about it afterwards. We do not use customer photos in our own advertising unless you give us permission in writing.
4. Prices, payment and promotions
Prices are shown per item before delivery, which is added at checkout. Payment is taken online through our payment provider, or by arrangement over WhatsApp. We do not see or store your full card details.
Bundle prices and free keyring charms are promotions and apply only while they are shown on the site and in your basket. They cannot be exchanged for cash. A free charm is part of the order it came with, so if the order is cancelled or returned the charm goes back too.
5. Production and delivery times
Production and courier timelines are set out in our delivery policy. Timelines are our best estimate and not a guarantee. Where we cannot deliver within a reasonable time, you may cancel and receive a refund of what you paid for the undelivered goods.
6. Quality, faults and returns
Under section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act you are entitled to goods that are of good quality, in working order and free of defects. If something arrives faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, tell us within six months of delivery and you may choose a repair, a replacement or a refund. Full detail is in our refunds and cancellations policy.
Small differences in colour between what you see on a screen and what comes off the printer are normal and are not a defect. The same applies to a soft or blurry print caused by a low-resolution photo that you supplied.
7. Fit and suitability
Our cases are designed for the exact phone model you select. A case is a cosmetic and light-protection product. It is not drop, water or scratch proof, and we are not liable for damage to your phone.
8. Accounts
If you create an account, keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account that is used for fraud or abuse.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act. Beyond those rights, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect loss such as lost profit or lost data.
10. Changes and disputes
We may update these terms. The version on the site when you place your order is the one that governs that order. South African law applies, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction. If we cannot sort a complaint out between us, you may approach the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
